Request for InformationLYT Productions are managing a project "Tide Mills - A Living History” funded by the National Lottery Heritage Fund and South Downs National Park. The concept is to engage the immediate community (and possibly beyond) in the amazing history of Tide Mills. They will work in groups with professional artists from across all media to create installations, informed by the rich scope of happenings at Tide Mills, of which the Heritage’s Tidemills hospital was such a huge part. All will culminate with a celebratory week (provisionally set for spring) where they will literally be bringing Tide Mills back to life for all to see, for free.If you are able to contribute to this worthy cause, either by having attended Tidemills or knowing something of it’s history, then please contact LYT Productions.

Dr Strode’s Proposed CanonizationJohn Flood of CBMC (Committee for Brother Michael’s Canonisation) has written to say -The principal purpose of this letter is to ask for help from any Chailey former pupil who knew Dr Michael or who believe their lives have been influenced by his legacy, for example at Chailey or with HCPT. Primarily the success of the CBMC venture is dependent upon our gathering as many powerful testimonials as possible. We therefore hope as many Chailey former pupils as possible will feel able to assist in this way. This could include some who never met him. The ‘How you can help’ page on our website now contains a leaflet to assist potential authors to start writing. Click here too view full letter.
