Chailey Heritage Old Scholars Association
Mrs Ann Jones It is with much sadness that we have to inform you of the sudden and unexpected death of the Chair of the Friends of Chailey Heritage and our own Vice President, Mrs Ann Jones, following a car accident. As you know, Ann and her husband Chris have for many years organised the catering for the wonderful lunches we have enjoyed at our Annual Reunions, and we will greatly miss her boundless enthusiasm, cheerfulness and unstinting energy . Ann did a fantastic amount of work for the Friends of Chailey and her input to that organisation will be very difficult to replace. We extend our thoughts and prayers to Chris and the family at this difficult time, and wish to inform you that the funeral service of thanksgiving for Ann's life will be held at St Peters Church. Chailey Green on Monday the 29th January 2024 at 3pm. Janet and I will be representing the Old Scholars as Chairman and Secretary respectively, but any Old Scholars will be more than welcome to attend.
